Hi, im new to VW's, just brought a 72 beetle as a restoration project. it has no engine, what high performance engines are compatible and where could i get one from?

Hi,

You can fit any engine from a 1200cc up to anything that can be built.

Jim at The Engine Shop is good - he supplies Big Boys Toys etc. He is based in Erith, Kent but does courier engines.

I am just putting a 2007cc in my wifes beetle Very Happy
